Metriax GmbHMetriax GmbH (Wuppertal) specializes in RFID, NFC, and identification technologies. We develop and supply modular hardware and media solutions that enable reliable system connectivity, secure user authentication, and contactless process management – from standard components to customized solutions. Our portfolio includes RFID/NFC read/write devices (for wall-mounted, desktop, and embedded applications), RFID/NFC transponders (cards, key fobs, tags), and motorized card readers and dispensers. Depending on the application, our systems support many common technologies and standards, as well as a wide range of interfaces; ease of integration and robust design are paramount. Application areas include access control and authentication, industrial automation, self-service and terminal systems, POS/payment-related scenarios, and e-mobility infrastructure. We support projects from the selection of suitable components through integration and customization (hardware/firmware) to series production readiness. Furthermore, we offer a new RFID card with two-factor authentication for security and high-security environments, which is particularly interesting for highly sensitive applications (including defense and governmental settings).
