The goal is to drastically reduce the energy demand of existing buildings and generate this reduced energy demand from renewable sources. greenNXT GmbH plans energy-efficient renovations using timber construction, giving buildings a new building envelope made of prefabricated facade and roof elements, including insulation, new windows, and building services components. Installation is carried out minimally invasively and without vacating the building while it remains occupied. The serial process enables short construction times, high quality, and predictable costs – making energy-efficient renovation economically feasible on a large scale.
